A rustic hacienda-style retreat in Scottsdale’s Silverleaf community, Hacienda de la Vid blends traditional Southwestern craftsmanship with an entertainer’s spirit. Designed to embrace its unique golf-course setting, the residence offers expansive mountain views while providing intimate, human-scaled spaces for gathering with friends and family.

The home is anchored by an inviting entry courtyard shaded by mature trees, approached by a choreographed stone stairway that rises from the street. At its heart, a hand-carved antique stone fountain sets a tranquil tone, flanked by the welcoming front porch and a private entrance to the attached guest casita. A small window beside the main door offers a tantalizing glimpse into the 1,000-square-foot stone-clad wine cellar — the owner’s prized feature — accessed from the formal dining room and designed as the social centerpiece of the home.

Inside, the main floor unfolds into a series of connected entertaining spaces: a chef’s kitchen with custom cabinetry, a warm and inviting bar, and a functional “utility kitchen” for seamless hosting. These lead to an expansive outdoor kitchen with a movable island, adjacent to a covered dining loggia framed by stone walls and lush, drought-tolerant gardens.

Upstairs, three guest suites each open to mountain vistas, complemented by a sitting room with coffee station and shaded outdoor loggia. Throughout the home, authentic materials — integrally colored 3-coat plaster, mortar-washed stone veneer, exposed timber beams, and handmade clay roof tiles — root the design firmly in the hacienda tradition.

From sunlit courtyards to the sparkling pool terrace, Hacienda de la Vid celebrates the Arizona indoor-outdoor lifestyle, pairing refined design with relaxed hospitality.
